Terms of Service

Collision CoPilot ยท Updated October 13, 2026

Using Collision CoPilot

These terms are a binding agreement between BainbridgeAI LLC, a Washington limited liability company ("BainbridgeAI", "we" or "us"), and the shop that subscribes, and they apply to every named user the shop invites. By signing in, checking out or using the service, you agree to them. Collision CoPilot provides read-only collision-repair research and reference tools through a supported AI assistant. It is offered for business use by collision repair businesses and their staff, not for personal, family or household use. Check the linked primary sources and the exact vehicle, material or equipment requirements before relying on an answer. The service provides reference material, not legal advice or a guarantee of insurer approval or payment.

Reference information, not legal advice

The state and federal law in Collision CoPilot is a selected collection of statutes, regulations, agency guidance and court decisions captured from public sources for common collision-shop questions. It is not every law that applies to you. It can lag official publications, omit amendments, contain capture or formatting errors, and it does not include city or county ordinances unless an answer says so. Nothing the service or your assistant provides is legal, tax, insurance, accounting, safety, environmental, employment or other professional advice. BainbridgeAI is not a law firm, does not practice law, and is not a substitute for an attorney. Using Collision CoPilot does not create an attorney-client, fiduciary or other professional relationship with BainbridgeAI, its members, managers or owner, or anyone who works on the service. Before you rely on legal information in a demand, dispute, lawsuit, filing, lien, vehicle release or sale, employment action or compliance decision, confirm it against the official source and with a licensed attorney in your state.

Answers are written by your assistant

Your AI assistant, a third-party service BainbridgeAI does not control, writes the answers you read. It can misread, leave out or misstate what Collision CoPilot returns, combine it with information from elsewhere, or answer from its own memory. You are responsible for reviewing every answer, citation, quotation, date and figure before you rely on it or send it to an insurer, customer, employee, agency or court. BainbridgeAI is not responsible for your assistant's output, availability or terms.

Your decisions

Estimates, supplements, repair plans and methods, invoices, letters, negotiations, liens, vehicle releases and sales, hiring, pay and discipline, safety programs and environmental compliance are your decisions and your responsibility. Always follow the vehicle maker's current repair procedures and product manufacturers' instructions; Collision CoPilot does not provide OEM repair procedures. No answer guarantees insurer approval, payment, a claim outcome, or any regulatory or legal result.

Shop subscription

Collision CoPilot is $49 USD per shop per month, including one named user. Each additional named user is $10 USD per month. You may instead choose yearly billing: $490 USD per shop per year and $100 USD per additional named user per year, paid upfront. This provides two months free compared with twelve monthly payments. Applicable sales tax is added to the price at checkout. Select additional users during checkout or update the quantity in your shop account. Additional seats become available after the required payment is confirmed. The owner counts as a user. Each shop subscription covers one location and its selected supported home state. Current supported states are California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Michigan, Montana, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas and Washington. Additional states and locations are not included. For multiple locations, book an MSO call or email collision-copilot@bainbridgeai.ai.

Optional setup and training

Setup and training is $249 USD one time, arranged with us separately. It includes help setting up CoPilot with your supported assistant and one hour of Zoom training. It is optional and is not added to the monthly subscription or charged through subscription checkout.

Payment, renewal and cancellation

Your selected subscription is charged monthly or yearly, as chosen at checkout, and renews until canceled. Yearly subscriptions are paid upfront. Increases above your already paid user capacity are charged proportionally for the rest of the paid billing period, using the rate for your selected billing interval. Seat reductions lower the next renewal without refunding the paid period. Revoke enough members and pending invitations before reducing seats. Standalone CoPilot has no free trial. You review the package and agree to recurring payment before checkout. Use the billing control in your account to cancel the next renewal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, and access continues through that period. Access stops when paid coverage ends if a renewal payment fails; there is no extra unpaid grace period. Email collision-copilot@bainbridgeai.ai about billing errors.

Refunds

Email us at collision-copilot@bainbridgeai.ai within 30 days of your first payment and we will refund it and cancel your subscription: the first month on a monthly plan, or the full year on a yearly plan. After that you can cancel any time and keep access through the period you paid for; partial periods are not refunded.

Monthly founding shop offer: Start your paid monthly subscription by October 31, 2026, 11:59 p.m. Pacific time to keep the $49 monthly base shop rate while continuously subscribed. Canceling and later restarting ends this protection. One named user is included; additional users remain $10 per month and applicable tax is added. This founding offer applies to the monthly base shop price, not the annual plan or additional-user prices. A price for new subscribers after the offer closes will be announced separately. Other purchases retain their agreed starting-price protection, including the first 12 months where applicable. Expiry of that protection does not itself increase a price. We will give notice before any change to a recurring price outside the founding monthly base-rate protection. Existing subscribers, including earlier fixed-user packages, keep their agreed prices, user limits and terms unless they separately agree to a new purchase. GuideCoat bundles and signup bonuses have their own offers; this standalone subscription does not include GuideCoat.

Named users and normal interactive use

Each user must use their own verified sign-in. The shop owner manages invitations and can revoke a member's access. Do not share sign-in codes or accounts. There is no monthly research cap for normal interactive shop use. Automated bulk scraping, resale or republication of the reference collection, and unattended runaway calls are outside that allowance. We may temporarily slow excessive bursts to keep the service available. Playbook reading has a daily limit per user and per shop that normal shop use does not reach.

Do not copy, scrape, bulk download, resell or republish CoPilot playbooks or other CoPilot content, by hand, by script, or by asking an assistant to recite them. If a shop or one of its users does, we may suspend or end that user's access or the shop's subscription immediately.

Your assistant and reference sources

Your ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini account and any subscription required by that provider are separate. Gemini custom apps currently work only with personal Google accounts. Collision CoPilot is an independent BainbridgeAI product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft. Your assistant provider's terms and privacy policy apply to your use of that assistant. Features and source availability can change. BainbridgeAI owns its software, brand and original materials; third-party reference sources retain their own rights. Use and attribution restrictions on a linked source continue to apply.

Account information and responsibility

Provide accurate shop, location and membership information. Use the service lawfully, keep your account secure and pay subscription fees when due. Do not attempt unauthorized access or interfere with the service. You remain responsible for your shop's repair, business and legal decisions, and for your named users' use of the service.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Collision CoPilot and everything it returns are provided as is and as available, with all faults and without warranties of any kind, express, implied or statutory, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, currency, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement, and any warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or meet your requirements. No advice or information from BainbridgeAI or the service creates a warranty that these terms do not state.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BainbridgeAI, its members, managers, owner, contractors and licensors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, payments, claims, business, goodwill or data, or for any amount an insurer, customer, employee, agency or court does or does not pay, award or assess, arising from or related to the service, any answer, or these terms, under any theory of liability, including contract, tort, negligence, strict liability and statute, even if told such damages were possible. BainbridgeAI's total liability for all claims together is limited to the fees you paid for Collision CoPilot in the twelve months before the event that gave rise to the first claim. These limits apply even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose, and they are an essential basis of the price.

Indemnification

The shop will defend, indemnify and hold harmless BainbridgeAI and its members, managers and owner from any third-party claim, demand, loss, penalty or cost, including reasonable attorney fees, arising from the shop's or its named users' use of the service, anything they send, file or present based on it, their violation of law, or their breach of these terms.

Claims, governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any claim relating to the service or these terms must be filed within one year after it arises, or it is permanently barred. Any lawsuit must be brought only in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington, and each party consents to their personal jurisdiction. Claims may be brought only on an individual basis, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective or representative proceeding. Each party waives trial by jury to the extent the law allows. Nothing here limits rights that applicable law does not allow to be limited.

General

These terms, the Privacy Policy and the checkout terms you accepted are the entire agreement about Collision CoPilot. If any part is held unenforceable, it is enforced to the maximum extent allowed and the rest remains in effect. A failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. You may not assign these terms without written consent; BainbridgeAI may assign them in connection with a sale or reorganization of the business. Subscriptions started before BainbridgeAI LLC was formed continue with BainbridgeAI LLC under these terms. BainbridgeAI is not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside its reasonable control, including outages of assistants, hosting, payment providers or source publishers. The sections on reference information, your assistant, your decisions, warranties, liability, indemnification and claims survive cancellation.

Changes and contact

We will publish updated terms here and tell subscribers by email about material changes. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms. Changes do not remove the agreed starting-price protection. For questions, contact collision-copilot@bainbridgeai.ai or write to BainbridgeAI LLC, 2442 NW Market St, Unit #1042, Seattle, WA 98107. Read our Privacy Policy for account and research data handling.
